Bio

Naive Set is an Amsterdam-based band that takes a loose approach to detailed guitar pop, making songs both easy on the ears and pleasing on repeat. In their three previous full-lengths and one EP, the band weaved together hazy and wavy with bright and shiny, channeling guitar-pop classics without being defined by them.

Dubbed “smart, highly catchy indiepop,” by VPRO 3voor12 and “classic-indie artisans” by MOJO, Naive Set is back in 2024, releasing stellar new material (compared to “silver crystal” by the Volkskrant) with the Amsterdam-based label AT EASE. Their next full length, In Air Quotes, is due in October.

Recorded at Schenk Studio, Amsterdam, then mixed in Melbourne by Mikey Young, the Australian producer of bands like Dick Diver, Total Control, and Twerps.
